Re: how to build a LS VTEC

whatcha gotta do is take ya one of them non vetec b motors, one of them withouts the vetec. Then you takes you a vetec head and yous throws it on the non vetecs motor. makes sure yous takes out that there oil squirter thingy before you bolts down that vetec head of yours. Now alls you gotta do is wire that vetec up and you'll be haulin ass like a summbitch.

Re: how to build a LS VTEC

you have to use a b18a,b18b(ls integra bottom end), Any b-series head(b16a,b18c)along with everything on the head, cams, sprockts, intake manifold, throttlebody, etc. Use the ls timing belt, you have to plug the original oil feed line on the head or it will leak oil , use the metal vtec head gasket. you have to run a new vtec oil line from the back of the ls block to the head, and wire uup the vtec solenoid. you can use any b-series tranny, b16,b18a,b18c. the b16,b18c is better than the ls.your can also use the pistons, oil pump on the ls blockthus making a 1.8L b16a, the ls pistons compression ratio is a lot lower than a stock b16 or stock b18c.
