The Slamming sound between gear changing
Ok , I have a 97 sc1 manual
when i put it in gear, and let it pretty much get to 1000 rpms and under, its fine, but as soon as i touch the accelerator, the is this loud slam that sounded like i got hit from the back. I don't know if its the transmission or an engine mount, but it only happens when a speed increase is used at a point where the throttle (accelerator) is not being touched and at low speed (just moving) |

Re: The Slamming sound between gear changing
most likely its a mount or you are leting the clutch out to fast. other possibletys are CV joints or internal transmission problems
