completed 2 - Tamiya Honda Fit(Jazz)

here is the finished model:-

the above photo of the underside was too purple when i mixed a new batch(may have mixed a little too much purple first time), and so was repainted, had to brush paint around the black and silver areas - not an easy job

Do you paint the whole car with a brush? Is it just me or does the hood have some brush strokes I must be going crazy.

I like the color though.

i brushed on the colour paint, then the clear paint - i tried using the airbrush i have and it was throwing silver splotches on the body, the silver was clogging the nozzle and throwing blobs onto the model

cleaned the body with brake fluid and started again

You need to clean your airbrush more throughly then... If you spray silvers or any metallics you need to clean the airbrush even better then when you clean up after solid colours..

Brush painting bodies for me is a no no..!! Oddly enough, you have "just" about got away with it...

I think you did an admirable job with the brush. Some folks would die for paint that good out of a can or A/B. Good work.
