my cougar has been having some problems lately, for starters sometimes i'll be slowly accelorating and i'll hit around 4krpm and the traction control light will start blinking and limitting the car. so i hit the traction button to turn traction off and it runs fine. i have aftermarket rims with the profile of the front tires lower then the first. also sometimes it'll be idling with the a/c on and i'll turn the steering wheel and the rpm drops a lot sometimes causing the car to stall. so now about what i think is a cruise control module error. under the throttle body theres a linkage thing thats disconnected heres a picture of that:
<a href="http://img84.imageshack.us/my.php?image=image0000712bc.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/3403/image0000712bc.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us" /></a>

it connects to this which i think is the cruise control module
<a href="http://img138.imageshack.us/my.php?image=image000090jb.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/5364/image000090jb.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us" /></a>

so what i want to know is if thats causing some of the problems, and if the connector for that thing is sold seperately or would i have to buy the entire linkage system?
