Question Pour Gas Milage

I have a 2001 grand prix gt 3.8l and i have only been getting 13 to 14 miles per gallon on atank of gas. What is everyon else getting ang what could the problam be ?

Did you ever get your notice from GM concerning the defective CAT convertor on 2001 - 2002 Grand Prixs? One symptom of a CAT convertor going South is poor gas mileage. It will probably progress to misfires and a SES light sooner or later. You should consider getting the CAT tested.

BTW - The emissions warranty on the CAT was changed to 10 years or 120K miles on your specific model GP, whichever comes first.
