Speedometer
my 94 civic's speedometer dropped to zero for about 10 seconds and then resumed normal operation. then a few days later I was going 60 and it dropped down to 20 and shot back up to 60 again. It has been a week since this has happened.
The cable cannot be broken since it is still operation, right? Does anyone have any ideas? |

Re: Speedometer
Thanks, you saved me time looking for the cable. Guess they don't use them on cars anymore.
is that sender easy to get access to? |

Re: Speedometer
i am guessing the sensor is that little black thing on the top of the trans with the wire comming out of it?
autozone wants 95 dollars for it. I'm thinking of taking a trip up to the junkyard with my cargo pants on, can't believe it is that much money. |
