HUGE turn signal problem
in my car, i have one blacklight hanging on one side of the windshield, and one blacklight hanging on the other side. i decided thatd it would be pretty nice if i were to hook up my blacklights to my turn signals so that every time i turn right, the right blacklight would turn on. i started with the left side first...i then went on my right side and finished that. whne i tested it, my blink indicators in my dash started blinking slower and slower and dimmer and dimmer and finally it went out. i figured it was the fuse, but it actually wasn't, they looked fine. i turned on my hazard lights and those worked. i then moved on to the flasher. i thought that was burnt out so i decided to replace it. turns out that i spent 9 bucks and it still didn't work. so if it isn't the flasher, the fuse, or the light bulbs, then what else could it be? PLEASE HELP OR ELSE I'M NOT GONNA HAVE ANY MORE TURN SIGNALS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!

Maybe the battery can't supply enough current.

wel, were you doing this while the car was idling? if so, then raise the RPM's to see if while you are driving anything will happen, if nothing happens I'd say get a stronger alternator. If that doesn't work you may not be able to do that.

yeah... thats alot of power to be putting on that little current that the sigs run on... it's prolly draining the battery.. as previously mentioned..
my friend's alarm flashed his sigs all the way around, so he wired his fog lights in to flash too when he set the alarm... it would drain the battery b/c of the extra power draw to light the 55w fogs over the 5w sig bulbs... same idea

You'll have to use a relay, and not hook it direct. Are you trying to make it flash too?
If not , then find the l & r out put wire from the switch, and hook to a relay. You'll need a relay for the left and the right. Are your B/lites 12v instant on, or do they have a starter in them? If they have a starter, it won't work very well.
