Changing Alt Belt '96 Metro 1.3

This topic has probably been covered many times before, but I can't find a specific answer to my problem. How do you change the Alternator belt on a '96 Metro LSI 1.3L? I'm having trouble releasing the A/C belt to allow the Alt belt to be removed and replaced. Is there a tensioner to release the A/C belt? If so where is it? Many thanks.

Loosen the nut on the idler. It holds the idler in place, the bolt just adjusts the tensioner up and down.

Thanks workd great. Job done even with a belt tightening to eliminate the cold start squeal.
