Re: kill switch

i'm about to do the same. you'll need some 12gauge wire, some Male and Female connectors, and a hiding place. cut into the power wire for the ignition and wire in your switch. it should work. try NOT to put the switch under the hood, dash, or in the glove box. because those are too obvious.

I have done this in my integra, but instead of the ignition I have two switches (might be a little overkill) that kill the fuel pump. It has worked very well; there have been two unsuccessful attempts by thieves to steal the car since I installed the switches. I do, however, have a clutch lock so the switches cannot be given all the credit, but they make me sleep better at night.

Re: kill switch

I've done one to fuel pump as well on my 90 hatch, works great. At first I would forget about it even

Re: Re: kill switch

I find it easiest to use the NEGATIVE coil wire. All you do is loop through a single pole METAL switch. It's basically like a light switch. Run the negative coil wire to the switch and a wire from the switch back to the coil. Simple, 5 min your done.

This Article, in bold and hilighted at the beginning of this subsection, has a very nice guide. I'm surprised you didn't find it before.
