Thumbs up Speedvision

So, who watches it? I started watching it about 2 or 3 months ago and its just about all i watch. I like watching the shows, except the boat shows, no offense to any boaters out there, but its pretty boring IMO. I just recently started watching some of the GT series as well as some of the other racing series. but there's too much motorcycle racing IMO. Its a cool channel and was glad one was made. So does anyone else watch?

I turn it on a lot, but only watch it once and a while. I never watch the boat or plane stuff.

I like watching the GT-type races. No NASCAR for me, though, thank you very much.

Have Speedvision since '97. The best year was 98, Australian, British and German Touring cars, FIA GT1, F1, Rally, go Karts, Le Mans, WSC, etc.

Right now, still looking good. Hopping they get Nascar out of their programing. And praying to get more European races coverage.

i'm in a bit of a dilema here

you see, i used to have just lowly cable, then one day my mom tells me we are getting digital cable so the first thing that pops into my mind is, SPEEDVISION!!!!!!!!!!!!!, so i wait and wait and wait til that day comes when they install it, i go to channel 408 and oogle my eyes out on the plethora of automotiveness. then sadly 3 weeks later they just decide to not include speedvision in my cable plan, so i am going to talk to them and see if i can get it back, because you can't toy around with a guys emotions like that!

It's probrably the second most wtahced channel in my house. No Indy or NASCAR for me. I love the GT races though and any car show. I saw a great race yesterday in Europe. I've had it since 98' or so and when we switched to Satellite it is now Channl 439.

It is the only reason I have a $85 a month cable bill. The channel gets me through the hectic work schedule when I can't get out there and race myself.
As for all of you wanting to see less NASTYCAR it ain't gonna happen. I like all of you HATE that roundy round crap but, Fox Sports has bought Speedvision and have announced that they will be bringing A LOT of NASTYCAR programs to the channel. It will not be all NASCAR but there is going to be a ton of it.:finger: The good thing is that there was a movement a month or so ago and they say that programing like ALMS, F1, etc will stay

That's insane for Cable. Ours is only about $40 CDn and I get about 300 Channels. BTW, the most watche channel in both of my house is a three way tie between FOX, TLC (The Learning Channel) and the Comedy Network.
