Exclamation turbo i might be getting...need help asap!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7995935426

it's a 14b, rebuilt going for cheap. i need to get this thing bad, but my question is...how can you tell if it came from a car with an automatic tranny or a manual? i emailed the guy asking him today but no reply yet. and the bid ends in 2 hours. i'm on a tight budget which is why this turbo is good for me. if i had a grand i'd get either the T28 or evo 16g, but i don't wanna wait forever to save up.

thanks for any help

I thought that the automatics were shipped with the 13b or something like that. I do know that they had smaller injectors (390cc). Hang on, let me check on tuners, I know I saw a list with the factory mitsu turbo part numbers.

Re: turbo i might be getting...need help asap!

This is all I could find......

14B turbos are stock turbos on first-generation manual transmission cars. 13G turbos are smaller, and are stock turbos on first-generation automatic transmission cars. Both are made by Mitsubishi - the full numbers are TD05H-14B-6CM2 and TD04-13G-5CM2, respectively.

That quote was taken from VFAQ.com. I couldn't find the one on tooners....sorry.

It looks like that is a 14b because the 13g is a TD04.

Check this out:

It looks like the smallest TD05H MHI turbo is the 14b....so I think you're in luck.
