Thumbs down 98 Town & Country, key won't turn

Does anyone else have this problem?

The will not budge!!! I will put it in the ignition and the binging noise will come on if the door is open and if I pull it out, it stops, however the key won't turn the ignition at all????

I've seen posts on other boards that the ignition cylinder lock needs to be replaced or something as simple as having the dealership make new keys.

Any help is appreciated!

Had the same problem and had the switch replaced. Worked fine for a while and then the same problem Resolution: Go to hardware store and buy a small tube of graphite powder. Squirt into the ignition switch hole and perhaps even a little on the key itself. Good luck.
