No Spark 86 Cherokee

I have just bought a 86 Cherokee and I was told it had a bad coil well I put a new one in and it didnt do the job. Still no spark. I tested to see if I had power to the coil and I do.

My next step is to replace the cap ad rotor. What else could cause it not to spark?

The ignition module. If you have a V6, it sits underneath the rotor; a plastic covered thingie with blade type electrical connectors on each side.

You were right on the Money. Though I changed it out before I read your post thats exactly what it was fired right up after I changed that.
