Wagons?
Hi. First time post for me. Anyways, I really like the look of wagons and would like to get one for "racing". Well, I can't really call it racing, it's just mainly a daily driver that I would like to be quicker than you average car.
Anyways, do you guys have any recommendations for wagons that have potential to be fast? Thank you and I look forward to your replies. |

Re: Wagons?
Caprice wagons are pretty cool...I've always wanted to drop a big block into one of those.

Thank you for the quick replies. Any other recommendations for wagons? What do you guys recommend I do to make them quicker? I would hopefully like to get it to run around low 14's and eventually around 13's if possible. The lower the better.
Thanks for the replies. |

Re: Wagons?
My friend also recommended me the Suzuki Aerio SX because he said that it has a good AWD system. Anyways, what do you guys think of the Aerio?
I'd probably go with the Impreza. Also, what could I do to the Impreza to make it faster? Supercharger? Turbocharger? Also, you guys brought up a bunch of wagons that would be good which is totally awesome but which ones would you guys recommend for me? Thank you. |

Re: Wagons?
WRX wagon is probably your best bet in a daily driver that is faster than most average cars.
Plus they'll net you decent gas milege both city and highway... given you keep your foot off the loud pedal.

Re: Wagons?
lol, I'm surprised no one's said that magnum w/ the hemi in it. That thing'll rape you on gas mileage, but it does have optional AWD. I say WRX wagon myself tho.

Re: Wagons?
I'd go with the wrx wagon as well. It's already boosted and has AWD. Which means great handling, off the line advantage, and you can make it faster for very little $$$. Start with an intake, manual boost controller, and exhaust. It'll cost you $400-$1,000 and you will already probably have dropped a second in your 1/4 mile.
My mom has the impreza wagon, and it's nice, tons of fun in the snow, etc....but I always wished it were boosted.
