i bought this truck in texas 5 years ago im just getting the truck mech. sound rebuilt 400 long block with stock intake and 2 bbl carb bracks rebuilt 4 speed trans. the problem i have is there are no shocks on rear or a trace of mounts. do i have to make these mounts or are they available aftermarket. if not how about specs on the mounts. any help would be appreciated. james 77

You can use these to bolt on shocks... get post-top type shocks and drill thru your upper frame member to mount them. or go to a welding shop and have them make flanges for ya... Don't know why but that year they figured that truck didnt bounce, anyway, so why need shocks, eh? LOL
