looking for gear heads near akron ohio

I live in the Northfield / Macedonia area. I wouldn't really call myself a gearhead, but I have an interest in learning anything I can about my car.

well we all have to start somewhere but u r starting with a gti so u r doing better then most. i work up that way in richfield mostly. what mods do you have or do u plan to have soon?

Lets see, I bought it used and haven't done anything to it except repair some of the mods the previous owner had done to the car. I have new rotors, abd cold air intake, 3" stainless exhaust, neuspeed suspension linkage bar and aftermarket suspension. I'm thinking about getting it chipped, but I have to get some suspension bushings replaced first. Don't have the money for both.

hey sometimes plans are better then old mods. plans can change but old mods are hell to replace or fix. you have to get the car solid b4 you mod it to hell and back.
