Question 95 Bonneville 3800 seII

My engine misses when engine is cold. After about 20 minutes when engine becomes hot, check engine light comes on. It seems to run fine after light comes on and engine hot. Autozone has tried to read code but couldn't. I think that I have OBDI computer. Another symptom that I'm having , at times when braking, the engine will just die but will start right back up.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

95 was the year they switched to OBD2, I had the same problem, an OBD1 computer with an OBD2 connector. Autozone's scanner will not recognize the codes, you need a Snap-on or a GM Tech2 scanner or equivalent to get the right ones, otherwise it will tell you "no communication"
