Advise when buying the camaro

Hey whats up guys... and girls is been a long time since I was here.
Anyways to the point.

I'm being offered a 95 T-top camaro, z06 rims for $2500 with a $2000-$3000 rebuilt engine 0 miles or so; 6 speed. According to the guy the car is perfect and in good shape making over 300 hp however he says that the down side is that since the motor is pulling so much he burned the clutch and that the only thing that I was to do is put a good clutch in it instead of the factory one since ill burn it again. He says he doesn't move it much since he just bought a 05 Maxima or Altima and thats the reason why he is selling it. I haven't seen the car yet but I'm planing on going in the next few days and will check if it has been hit or something.

Now my question to all of you is what you think so far and in case I do buy it what high performance clutch should I buy?

Thanks.

That deal is too good to be true that is how good of a deal that is, I would be suspiscious as to why he wants to sell it so cheap...

Thats true, maybe he just wants to get rid of it badly or the interior is messed up. Hell i'd take it with a very bad interior, since all you need is a high preformance clutch to basicly a new car.

Re: Advise when buying the camaro

When you go take a look at it I would check EVERYTHING! Find out what he did to the car to get that much HP out of an LT1 (they came with 275 stock) Check the frame to see if there is anything wrong with it that would suggest an accident, look at the seams in the body and make sure they are flush (also a sign of accident if they are not) and check if the tires are wearing unevenly if say the outside edge of the tire has less tread than the inside edge that can also be a sign of a repaired car. Mainly look over that car extremely well and ask a lot of questions if he's tryin' to sell you a lemon he might get nervous if you ask a lot about the car. Test drive it if you can too.
