1990 Accord Question
Ive had a lot of problems with my accord lately but are getting them straightened out.
But heres the frustrating part, ive gotten my door fixed and stuff, but for a while i will be un able to shut it all the way, please dont ask about why and stuf, its WAY too much to type. But since it wont shut the light in teh car stays on ALL the time, and the light around the ignition stays on, plus when im driving the CONSTANTLY beeps about me "not" having my seatbelt on, which in reality is the cars fault. Is there a fuse i can just unplug for the time being? to get rid of any of the problems? i think the interior light is fine being in the "off" setting. But will the light around the ignition run down my battery at night? I really need some help with this, and ASAP. I dont have an owners manuel for the car or ic ould probably do this my self. |

Re: 1990 Accord Question
If you look at the light switch mounted on the rear door post, you can manually actutate it to turn off the light. If you look closely, with the light off, you will see a small hold in the lever. Put a a thumb tack or screw in the hole and put some duct tape over it to keep it in.

Thank you that worked for the door being "open"
I have one more question, the seat belt still stays at the position that it is in when you open the door,e ven with the door shut, is there anyway i can turn this off, cause it makes a BEEP sound every 2 seconds, for as long as the car is running. |

Re: 1990 Accord Question
Didn't think about the seatbelt problem and the door switch, but if the door switch is kept in the door closed position, the seat belt will not respond properly. I don't how to solve your problem.
