1995 Cutlass ciera, improving gas mileage

Anyone have any ideas of what I could do to improve gas mileage? I replaces the bad o2 sensor, and cleaned the egr valve. I dunno what else I should do though, i think the car is only getting about 13 miles to the gallon which is horrible for a 3.1 liter v6. With gas prices raising fast it really sucks. Thanks guys.

Unfortunately if you are only getting 13 mpg then you need to look at other factors like a fuel leak or someone stealing your gas. Or on the other hand your driving habits. The 3.1 although not the most fuel efficient engine is better than most. If I were you I would purchase a locking gas cap, and then check the entire system for leaks. If you changed the O2 sensor and cleaned the Egr that is a start. Make sure your air filter is clean and that the PCV valve is new. Also change plugs and wires to insure that the engine is running at top efficiency. If that fails then you need a new car! It would pay for itself just in gas savings alone.
