Gas smell!!! Cant be good, help wntd

I have a 93 S-10 4.3L CPI VIN W.
I recently replaced the Spider Assembly and the nut kit due to a lot of washing in the plenum. The whole thing went fine. It seemed to have still fixed the problem, HUGE difference even before the computer had sorted itself out. This was about a week ago. Now I have a strong oder in the cab and under the hood that smells like gas. First thing I thought was that I forgot to tighten somthing during the install. Highly unlikly but ill check it. Nothing nut kit lines are tight and all bolts nuts on plenum tight. By the way used new fel pro gasket. Next i thought it could be that the new spidder is bad, slim but possible. Then i thought the truck is still running great tho. Could this be timing or somthing due to the new injector? Well i changed the oil again incase it might have been some gas left in the oil. NOPE. Cant figure this one out. Any ideas would be great, thx fellas!
