New option for music downloads

eh, i'm trying it out now, i don't like it. i'll stick with bittorrents.

I'm fairly new to this music downloading business finally getting high speed internet within the past year. I really only know of LimeWire and have downloaded close to 300 songs since then. Some I've burned to cds to play in the car, others I've transferred to an mp3 player. A question I have is that on the news last night they mentioned this new site and said all the downloads were legal and free because site advertisers were essentially picking up the costs. They also said you can download as much as you want...however, you must sign in at least once a month to the site in order to keep the music, otherwise it's gone. How does that apply to music I've downloaded and put on cds or my mp3 player from that site? Does that only mean the music I've downloaded and kept on the computer would go away if I didn't log on as I'm supposed to?

I downloaded a few individual tracks and it seemed to work fine, but whe I tried to download a whole wu tang album it does nothin. I do like that it doesn't have bs downloads like limewire

I'm getting annoyed with the one by one downloads and having to click 'next download' in between

After going through years of mIRC and Kazzaa usage during college, I've started buying cd's again. I actually like having the albums.

It's a good idea in theory but when I saw how greedy the recording companies were and how much the artists gets from each sale it makes me wonder. That's why many new groups are doing things differently like selling cds and downloads directly online by themselves without the help of record companies.
