noise from belt area
Hey everyone,
I have a strange noise coming from my belt area, its like a whinning but not steddy. I just had my serpitine(sp) belt changed about 3 weeks ago, i wonder if it is too tight? Thanks

The serpentine's tensioner pulley is fairly common to go bad. Remove the belt & spin, it shoul be quiet. The pulley is very hard to find seperately from the whole tensioner arm $$, but the bearing itself is easily replaceable. Just bring it to a NAPA type store & match up a new bearing.
