1990 525i AC/ Heater Blower Motor does not Blow

I have a 1990 525i. My blower motor quit engaging so I replaced it with a new one and the thing still doesn't come on. When I put the AC on the blue light comes on and a little bit of cold air will trickle out so I know that the AC is still charged, I just have no air. I was thinking it might be the switch that controlls the high low on off settings. But when I turn it on the AC Blue button lights up and that is when I feel a little cold air but the blower motor does not engage. Can someone please help me... thanks, Deltsooner.

You need to clean your fan motor resistors. I'm pretty sure they are on the fan housing. If that doesn't work you need to replace them. Good luck.

Can you explain more about the fan resistors. Do you mean the terminals on the fan... not sure what the resistors are or where they are.
Do you think that it might be in a switch?

Even though I have installed a new fan?
