Big Problem with my car, Tranny Done?
Hey guys my car is a 1990 RS with a chevy 350 swapped into it, and it was running fine the 1st 3 gears made a kind of meshing noise while i was driving but nothing major no grinds, its the stock tranny i believe, i had been beating on it a little trying to get a feel for the car ive only owned it a few weeks, and i chirped third gear, and the dash like jumped, and now if i punch it in like first the shifter jumps up a few inches, it still works fine if i dont get on it but if i punch it it feels like the tranny wants to jump out of the car, any ideas?, did i snap a mount, lose a bolt maybe?
to reiterate, my shifter boot gets pulled up and almost breaks when it does this. |
