window tint question
is it possible to take out the window tint without ruining the defroster on the back window?

Personally I think its much easier to break the window and replace it, when you scrape the tint off the defroster is coming off with it, unless anyone else out there knows something I don't.... I would either do that or live with the tint...

Re: window tint question
i think i might actually be able to peel my tint off when i replace it, its already bubbling in the back, whoever did the tint the last time went cheap.

Re: window tint question
i think there is a solution for that. somewhere online i read about it, it was either heating up the tint or spraying something on it....i'd check online there are some sites that give you info on how to install and probably remove...

Quote:
its both, you spray it with amonia and let it sit for like an hour or 2 in the hot sun, you could use a heat gun but you gotta make sure it covered in amonia and dont let it dry, keep it wet and soon it will start to flake off, try to peel it off at this point but now its very brittle and will break as you try to peel it off, but its to risky there is no 100% garuntee that your rear defrosters will stay intact.
