I think GM is testing interest with this.

They could have a new Camaro out in 2007 easy.

Well Luos ofcourse it is about interest in this, and seeing how many people want it back. I think though that if they dont act FAST Mustang will take all of the money, but I guess if they do wait then those who were Camaro fans but had to buy a Mustang because they wanted Rear drive V8 power will jump on this because by the time it comes out IF IT DOES, then they will be done paying it off. Wonder how good it goes for em.

On the present course that GM is on, they will be just lucky to be here in 09. They are in trouble and fast loosing their stance on the automotive industry
In My opinion, if they do to the camaro what Ford did with the mustang .............I would just rather see Camaro be given a respectable burial now!

Yes, GM IS losing alot of its influence in the automotive industry.Hell Buick might be gone soon, along with Pontiac believe it or not. See they're losing alot to Ford and ofcourse the import market is killing them too.

The reason GM has alot of front wheel drive cars with V6s is because of the imports, im sure all of you know this by now. But when they got rid of the Camaro, for a stupid reason I bet they didnt see the Mustang just being the opposite of what they thought. Now it's killing them at a faster rate.

Re: Camaro in 09 (I know, i know dont kill me :)

hell the mustang was stopming a mud hole in their asses then so i know they saw it doing what its doing now. they never had a problem selling those things at ford, they hit the jackpot....sporty, affordible, american. us...sporty, american, but costs u your left nut and first born. what can u expect. mustang never showed a single hint of a problem so they were willing to let them win that battle and go after the suv title, but who saw the war coming when it did, and thanks to that the rise of the suv is gone. now people are looking back to buying cars and we spent our resourses on suv's. caught us assed out. who the hell wants to pay 80 dollars at the pump to fill up one of those? my moms sport track takes about 50 bucks to fill, well 56. my brothers expidetion takes around 60, and my ex has a damn h2, she told me its 80 bucks to top that thing off, i was like wtf....thats a damn electric bill, thats why we are getting killed, we have the most trucks now and nobody is buying them, we dont have cool cars, sorry but the calbolt wont do and the 8 different grand am's they have out wont do either. we cant keep up with the cheaper imports that everyone loves, and the mustang done ran off humping our girl while we are standing at the bus stop woundering what happend...its just sad man

Re: Camaro in 09 (I know, i know dont kill me :)

:agree:

Philly said it how it is.

Gm just didn't focus on the rwd sports car spectrum and lost it all as soon as they pulled the 'maro. It sucks, but looks like Ford will be #1 for the pony car area from now on.

only way to have gm beat them is get a better badder faster 'maro at a cheaper price. and they wont do it.

It's amazing how many cars were into the pony wars and the last ones to stay were the Camaro and the Mustang, I think it's safe to say that the Mustang won.

I think the Camaro will be looked at 30-40 years from now as we look at the old Novas and Hemi-Cudas now: it was badass and fast as hell but is no longer in existence.

As long as they don't screw up like they did with the Nova II

What's wrong, you don't want to see your car sell? Not to be an ass but Ford did the retro look, it worked.

I'm sure if Chevy did the same with the Camaro, at a good price, their sells would go through the roof too.

There is something I learned that really screwed them over. GM tried to buy a part of Fiot, which owns Ferrari, and the deal went to hell and they lost like 2-3 years worth of research money on that.

Ford is making a killing in the indutry, all of their cars are the best selling.

Mustang- one of the best selling cheap coupes (prolly the best RW V6, I see almost no GTs around)

F-150- ugly, weak, preferred choice of millions of americans. Best selling truck

Explorer- These things are everywhere prolly best selling SUV ever

I can't figure out why people love ford so much, but they do
