Anyone have A/C info?

Hey everyone,

Does anyone have any information on installing A/C parts. In particular, how much and what type of oil to add to the components. I have a new compressor, condensor, accumulator, and orifice tube. Just wondering how much oil to add before I seal it up. Also, has anyone flushed their evaporator? If so, how did you do it? Anything to describe best ways to add oil, etc would be helpful.

Thanks much - Drew

Compressor oil PAG 150.. How much is now in question. 2oz, 2oz over what was in the old compressor?..... GM Mechanics Manual says 8 oz. I put in 8 and after several weeks no problems. and lots of cold air.
I am by no means an expert - just did one.. It's a bear getting out as it comes out the right wheel well, don't be discouraged, it WILL come out. I put all of my oil in the compressor thinking it will soon be distributed. Frank
