Power increase at 2200RPMs

87 Camero, 2.8 liter, 80,000 miles Auto Trans.
My car is a real dog up to about 2200 RPMS, then the car surges to about 2500 RPS and drives normally.
I have changed all the sensors, plugs, wires, coil, cap, rotor, Ignition module, etc, does anyone have any ideas what would be causing the sudden surge of power at certain RPMS?
Thanks

Re: Power increase at 2200RPMs

sounds like your timing could be off a bit.. also could have a plugged or bad injector..
check your timing then get an induction service..
good luck

I don't mean to sound stupid, but what is an induction service?
