hey.. just go an 89 gsxr 25k km
the body is ripped to crap.. was dropped.. i just got a 02 gsxr body.. what do i need to do to complete a body swap... i understand im gonna need to build some brackets.. but does anyone have specific diagrams? thank you for your time! |

That's quite the job you've set in front of you.The Body lines on the two bikes are completely different.. never mind the headlight assembly, shield, and the bikes tail. I would first remove the old panels and hold the new ones up just to see what they look like.. to check Clearances and such.. Unless you plan on fabricating all new mounts and odds are you would have to cut and mend the plastics to half-ass line up on the older bike..It would never look good.. your better off just buying replacement panels and fixing it the right way.
