I own a 1995 V6 Accord and wanted to know if I could legally swap in an H22 engine into my car. According to most of my friends, I wouldn't be able because it's illegal to swap a smaller motor into my car since the H22 is a 4 cylinder motor and my car is originally designed for a V6. I'm confused because I've heard of integras having B16 motors swapped into them. I'm concerned about smog because I live in California and they're pretty strict on modifications of any sort. I really want to go ahead with the motor swap but I don't want to spend all that money. Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

Re: H22 Engine Swap Question????
the fifth gen V6's are weak IMO, the h22 is a better engine to me, cuz i have owned one. but i have heard alot of ppl have trouble passing smog with it since its imported and all. but good luck!
