Use 7 digit code to enter your 4# PIN
I don't know anything about only your passenger lock working, but I think I've got some info on the key code. According to my manual, you enter the 7 digit code and that allows you to set up a 4 digit PIN that will be your new code. The 7 digit's like the master. If you've got a manual, check it out.
So you were able to locate the 7 digit pin under the dash. Where exactly was it? I've been trying to find it for awhile. If you don't have a manual let me know and I'll get you the instructions on setting up the 4 digit pin. |

Thanks, I found it.
Yeah, you push the st/cl button, enter the 7 digit code, and it should make a long continous beep. During this beep enter any 4-7 digit code you want. Then it will make like 6 short beeps-which is what's supposed to let you know the code was entered correctly. One other thing. I talked to an old buddy of mine who is a nissan mechanic. He said one of the things with the keypad stuff is that the buttons commonly go out, so if everything goes cool, but still doesn't seem to work, this might be it. |
