Never look back because they're probably gainin' on ya.
Another kid who grew up watching me build models and took it to the next level. He brought this model of one of the local cars to me at the track Saturday to shoot some pics for him. He really outdid himself on this one. Right down to the chrome numbers and the wheel plug. I think I may have to confine myself to just shooting pics of the real modeler's stuff from now on. Between him and Gator I know I don't need to try any more dirt cars. Now I know how Jake Elder felt.

The numbers are chrome mylar cut on the same machine that cut the decals for the real car along with most of the larger lettering. All the small stuff is done with a little bitty brush just like I showed him all those years ago. Here's what it looks like from the front.
