supras turning to the right
well, im new to the forum, so hello everyone. but back to the point, my mk3 turns to the right when i am driving straight. ok, i can keep it from turning right when holding the wheel, but it turns to the right when ever im not holding the wheel, is this normal or is something wrong with my frame, or steering, or something?
also the engine check light turns on after a round 10-30 min of constant driving, for example, highway driving at around 60-70mph at 3000rpm, it turns on,nothing feels wrong and nothing sounds wrong, is this something major? Last edited by 10player; 07-31-2005 at 04:23 AM. |

Welcome to the forums.
For the check engine light, pull the code that the ECU is throwing. Follow the directions in the link.http://www.cygnusx1.net/supra/techti...rrorcodes.html As for your car pulling to one side are you sure it's the car and not the crown of the roads? It does it in all lanes and on all other roads, even flat parking lots? It could be alot of things, anything from a bad alignment to bent suspension parts or frame, even a very low tire on that side. Check how much air is in the tire first of coarse, then take the car to an alignment shop and have them look at it and see what the settings are.

ah, thank you for the help projectsupramk3. i will check the code as soon as i get it back from the ac shop.
well, the car turns to the right on every road, flat or curved. at first i figured it was the tires, but then i had new one put on because the tread was almost gone. and it still did it. but i will check it as soon as i get it back. and i will have to take it to an alignment shop as well. again thank you very much |
