Fender skirt? removal
My sons 96 Blazer was sideswiped and I need to replace the rear plastic that joins the rear bumper and fender. In looking at the rear plastic, I don't see how this comes off the metal fender. The screws inside the rear fender well look to be accessable, but after that, I'm stuck. Any suggestions.
ALSO, his truck really squeaks (not motor, sound likes bushings or something to do with the body?) Suggestions on the fix and the $$. Thanx |

Re: Fender skirt? removal
Ebay for the part.
Also, you need to be more specific on where the squeak is coming from. Have you greased the 11 grease fittings on your front end?

LT-
I can get the part, no problem. My question is how do I get the old one off? Is it pretty easy? How many screws are there aside from those I can see inside the rear fender well? Thanx As far as the squeaks, I couldn't tell you where they are coming from. I assume the fittings get greased when he gets a lube/oil/filter change. |

Quote:
Get under the truck and get all 11 of them with a good 4-5 pumps of grease.
