I have a 89 maro I hooked the radio up but my stations won't stay set, every time I turn da car off I have 2 reset the stations. And I also have to turn da radio myself. It won't come on when I start the car. Wut color is the remote wire. And is there any way I can rig it to some other wire

Damn, mine was doing this same exact thing, but i forgot what i did (or my pops) to fix it. Guess i'm no help. Definitely a wire though, just forgot which one.

Re: radio won't stay set
you're sure it's not the fuse?

Re: radio won't stay set
You don't have your accessory wire hooked up properly then. It's an aftermarket deck right? You've probably got the accessory wire mixed up with the power wire or something of that sort.

Re: radio won't stay set
there's 2 power wires for the radio, one is constant power, the other is switched power. they're usually a red wire and a yellow wire. pull the radio out and swap the red and yellow wires and that should solve the problem.
