What are the factory speaker sizes for a 1997 Suburban with speakers in the front doors, middle doors, & in the headliner near the rear doors?

I replaced the front door speakers in my 95 suburban and I think they were 5 1/2 or 6" round the back ones are 6x9s

Circuit City has an online system for telling you what sizes fit in your car. Also, most online car audio stores have a similar system set up.

I have a 99 and the front and middle's are 6 1/4's and the rears are 4x10's. If you look @ the crutchfield, best buy, and circuit city they will all tell you that the front's and middles show 5 1/2's and 6 1/4's the reason is because the 92-96 use the 5 1/2's and the 96-99 use the 6 1/4's. This is what I was told from the crutchfield customer rep. So when I bought all my speakers for mine they were right @ least with mine. Maybe if someone has a 96 or older they might be able to confirm this. Hope this helps.

I believe the stock speakers in the suburban during the mid 90's were 1-way 6.5's in the front with separate tweeters. And 1-way 6.5's in the mid doors. And 2 or 3-way 4X10's in the back headliner. I remember confirming this at BestBuy when I was shopping for speakers.
