Re: Toyota Mr2 SW20 Agressiv-Scratchbuild

I honestly am not feeling it (right now). But I hate saying that when the car isn't finished. I do like the choice of mods, maybe I think there is too much going on...I don't know. Anyways, I say push forward cause I have a feeling I'll like it when I see it painted....OH!! Now I see why it looks odd to me, 2nd Generation MR2's look awkward without some sort of spoiler on the back. Add a spoiler and I think that would balance the overall look of the car.

Hey,

I like the rear flamed decklid. What are the airscoops from? Looks pretty cool all around. Keep up the awsome work!

Whats on the decklid? I always like projects like these, I'd love to see what forms next.

keep up the goodwork. My favorite part of scratchbuilding, is that you can make it however YOU want, and it instores a sense of pride in you, rather than buying something pre fabbed. Keep up the good work, I too am doing a fully scratchbuilt car too, so if you need inspiration check out my teg

On the deck lid there are two intake tubes, basically like the ones on a jeep so that it doesn't suck up water (no water involved with the mr2), since the engine is in the rear less air flowing into the intake manifold, thus the mod, its like an aftermarket intake but much cooler. BTW the mr2 is going to be sick, might seem a little different widebodied, but the overall progress is awesome dude!

I know the stuff about the intakes, but I was wondering about the little styrene piece on the decklid. Somebody said they were flames.

Everything looks fine to me, only 1 thing is bothering me. The front bumper with a big hole... are you planning to leave it that way or will be adding a large piece of diffuser? With GT wing or spoiler will look more badass, but if choosing spoiler, it had to be big...

Re: Toyota Mr2 SW20 Agressiv-Scratchbuild

I agree, the spoiler should be as agressive as the rest of the mods to the body. Any of the spoilers you mentioned should work well.
