Thumbs up Intake for my Lumina!

My friend was walking around our local auto store when he found a cheap cone air filter. It was made by APC (some generic company) anyway, he put it on and there was a noticible increase in sound at higher rpm. In fact his engine(3.8 liter) sounded awsome. So I got the bright idea of trying it on my car (3.1 liter). We put it on and I rev it a little. Holy crap for a split second you hear the engine suckin in more air. Then I tryed at higher rpm, I started laughing like a little girl, it sounded like a completely different car(like a 350z almost), the next day I bought one and installed it for 26 bucks. To fit in my car I took the upper part of my stock air box off and now it's resting on the lower part, that way it wouldn't melt on the exhaust manifold. For those of you that don't have cold air intake I highly recomend purchasing one.

the filter come before the IAT sensor....just on the end of the the big rubber hose....right after MAF...

but, i still prefer K&N filters...although a bit expensive but, perfect.
