which turbo kit would be best for stock internals and easiest to install? I realize there will be difference of opinion but bring on the details.

I think for stock internals a low boost kit would be the safest. Probably the greddy kit or the HKS kit. the greddy kit is also carb approved so thats a bonus.

since when did HKS produce a turbo kit for the Prelude?

your only 4 choices are FMax, Drag, Greddy and Iceman/Knight. all of them are able to create low amounts of boost for stock motors.

i was thinking more on the lines of civics and integras. The Fmax and Drag kits also cost a lot more then the greddy kit and using low boost with fmax or drag would be a waste

Don't even bother with a kit. Just have a custom setup made for you. That way they can tailor it to exactly what you want and you don't pay for extra stuff you don't want.

sorry i should have cleared this up. i am talking about a 96 gsr motor in a 95 hatch. i think the greddy kit is the best way to go. although the jackson supercharger looks good too.

i'm wondering if i can just buy a revhard stage 4 kit, and regulate that 25psi it puts out to just under 7 or so psi of boost until i build my motor. this way, i have options if i wanna go huge with boost.

they come with 6-9psi wastegate and blow-off valve springs. liability prevents them from selling anything higher for "stock block" vehicles.

I think APEXi only has turbo kits for a 92-95 Civic SOHC. He has a GS-R, and at the time drift was talking about a Prelude.

which turbo kit is best

I would go for anything from F-Max... I know a couple of people that are running stock internals ie. apex and greddy. And one buddy that runs F-Max. And his is by far the best performer.
