Radio

So my radio reception is pretty awful for some reason. I only seem to get radio stations when I'm very close to where they broadcast from. My radio is only about a year old, but I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the actual radio because the old radio had the same issue. I dont have any extra stereo equiptment in the car, just a standard after-market radio. When I hit the brakes, reception gets noticabely worse.

Ideas?

Re: Radio

Figured so. Is the reception worse than if your in another car in the same area? If so, I'd say there's either something wrong with the radio (unlikely being you said you already replaced it), or the antenna cable is open somewhere causing the bad reception.

To be clear, you're not getting a hum or buzz, just poor reception?

The reception in my car is far worse than any other car I've been in. I'll check out the cable sometime. And as far as the humming or buzzing...no, it's not doing that, just terrible reception.
