Re: Honda Ridgeline
I think the ridgeline is going to be a big hit. I have a F150 if I were in the market I would buy a Ridgeline to replace it. I want a truck thats more sport utility like without sacirficing truck looks and versitiliy. If tough enough the Ridgeline will start a evolution in pickup design. Looks good to me.

Re: Honda Ridgeline
Looks a little like the Mitsu Raider: http://www.mitsubishicars.com/06raider/
I forget what american truck this was based off of (based off of as in they jsut changed the front end and put mistubishi logos on it.) |

Re: Honda Ridgeline
i think its a very smart move by honda..everyone knows honda's as the vehical that u cant kill (well people other then us) and thats what people want in a truck. I can see this truck being around for awhile

Re: Honda Ridgeline
The only thing I don't like about it is that it uses a uni-body construction. I think that a truck should have a full frame, and a bed that is not attached to the cab. Other than that it is fine and I think that it will make a good impression on people that are in the market for a truck.

Re: Honda Ridgeline
I think this move could be a good one for Honda. My only question is how much torque does the ridgeline offer. I mean compared to Domestics and other higher output imports where would the ridgeline stand? Will ridgeline owners get smoked by others like dodge or chevy or even the new mitsu discussed in the previous threads?

I agree with you on how it should be a full frame. I also think that they should make a large truck like nissan did with the titan ( maybe a v8 ) so they can take a share out of the big three american truck manufacturers so Honda can make an even bigger profit not mention at least the Honda would be the best made most reliable truck compared to all the others. |
