1996 AC problems
Air stopped working last week, now blows just air. Put in one can of refridgerent and it still does not work. Should I try another can or could it be something else? At $18 a can I don't want to throw money away. With one can in should it at least work a little? I don't see any leaks as far as I can tell, but I'm not a mechanic either. What else could it be?

Re: 1996 AC problems
Could be several things. Does the AC clutch try to kick in at all? Does it stay engaged? Low freon can keep the clutch from engaging or staying engaged. One can is probably not enough if you've never added any, 2 cans should make a difference. Buy a recharge kit with the pressure gage in the box, that will give you an idea of where you are.
