Thumbs up a comeback

im baaaaaack

i doubt any of you will remember me, but just about 8 months ago i was still driving this:

well in january i got sick of putting up with the constant tranny problems (having to mismatch trannies to the motor because it was a 95 motor with cable tranny hookups) and decided to trade my beloved hatch for something with more looks than go...

coincidentally, 15 minutes after the trade was made, the guy with my car followed me back to my house to get his title, driving the hatch, me driving my new del sol Si, the transmission in the hatch got stuck in 4th gear never to come out again, one block from my house - lucky me

well the del sol got stolen and stripped of its whole front end and other miscellaneous parts just 2 months after i got it, in the middle of the damn day (you can see the damage at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/862144) so i decided to test myself and see what i could do with body work...i wanted the sol to look cleaner, so i put a 92-95 civic front end on it...i still, have never driven it since it got stolen because i have no tag, and cant get one because the title i have is not in my name, but here's my work, with the fenders not mounted (which i have still yet to weld together):

from this:

to this:

well im tired of not driving, the ignition is still dangling from the steering column and i do not feel like spending the time or money to fix it seeing as this car only has a 1.5 sohc in it, so im selling it for around $2k as is without the wheels, or looking for an ef trade...if i sell it, im going to try to find an ef shell and pick up this helluvadeal motor to drop in..

i strayed away from my ef, and i got what was coming to me...i dont feel the love i had for my hatch is the same at all for the sol, i use to not be able to wait to drive the hatch, now i just want the sol to be gone

so if anyone is interested in buying or trading, let me know, im in wichita, ks - it'll be nice to be back!!

Re: a comeback

I'd trade if I lived near you... I like what you've done so far. I like the front end on the 5th gen.
