Re: whats this worth?

1500 for CV's to get the "nice and straight"...to me that smells like BS. I was called crazy for spending 500 to get my axels professionally done, brand new honda axels too...

Re: whats this worth?

$3500 max (and thats in a high demand area), and he didnt say 1500 to replace the axels, he said they raised the motor up to complensate for the angle that it put the cv joints in.

Re: whats this worth?

Not sure I undersand the 'raised through', is the engine just sitting in its stock location and they bought a JDM style ViS hood (with the taller front than the USDM one to fit the B without having to modify any of the mounts), or is it literally sticking thru the roof?

If its the later, then Id worry as the engine would get wet... Fine if the car is a track whore, not so good for a daily driver... If its the first one, then thats fine, doubt they spent 1500 on that tho, since the ViS hoods are only about $400...

But yea, Id say TSC is pretty close, $3500 max...

A picture would help too and the miles and anything else that could possibly lower/raise the price. Dont forget its a 15 year old car so dont expect much from it.

Re: whats this worth?

he probably means another o2 bung added, any muffler shop could do that for you for around $10.

Re: whats this worth?

I guess it would then depend on how much you like your RX7 and if you have the money to get a different car registered, taxes, etc... if you're set on the Civic I'd have it checked out real good before trading. I'd also have your RX7 checked over as well to give the other guy piece of mind. That way both of you wil go into the trade knowing if either car has any issues that require attention.
