Question Dashboard lights strange actions

I have a 98 Cavalier that's is going through some very strange dashboard light issues. The car starts and runs perfectly but all my dashboard lights come on and go off at will. ABS, hand brake and everything else. Some go out and come back on and the DRL indicator blinks on and off. I tried replacing the DRL relay but that did nothing. The only light that does not come on is the check engine light.
Any clues on this would be greatly appreciated!!!

Re: Dashboard lights strange actions

For anyone that may have read this or had the same issue I have fixed the problem.
Not sure if one would have been enough but I put two new ground wires on the car. I put one from the negative post on the battery directly to the body of the car. The other one I put from a bolt on the engine block to the body of the car. So with these two new ground wires all my issues went away. It is a 98 cavalier that has spent the last 10 years in upstate NY, so there is rust all over the car.
With any luck this will help others with similar issues.
Dan
