Is there a oil that is extra thin?

Alot of people seem to have problems with the sludge "cooking" in their engines on the 2.7L V6 engine Dodge uses. They say its because the oil passages are too small to let the oil circulate (sp) the way it should. Is there a oil that is thin enough to help prevent this problem.

A large % of cars that use these engines need some kind of "serious" repair to the engine after only 50,000 miles.

well, synthetic oils i think flow better but you shouldn't use a thinner oil, the dealer tells you what kind of oil to use for a reason so i wouldn't tamper with the viscosity

Yep -- I would not deviate from the recommended viscosity. Because you know of the problem, I suggest periodically using a crankcase cleaner to remove sludge buildup.

i agree with them, use the recommended viscosity and change you oil regularly and you shouldn't have a problem on any car.
