Was I crazy to buy this S-10?
Just bought a 1997 s-10 Blazer LT and think they should have included a bottle of aspirin with it. It wouldn't start when I test drove it and they replaced ignition switch and that fixed the problem. Now, I get this buzzer going off under the dash at random times and pretty consistently. Sometimes I can get it to stop by activating switch on sunroof, other times working A/C controls or electric windows will get it to stop temporarily. Yesterday it started buzzing everytime I turned steering wheel to right. When I returned steering wheel to straight ahead position, it would quit. Also, right after I purchased it, the SES light came on and transmission would not shift into low. This was fixed with new wiring connector and fuse to transmission and an oxy sensor. Now, the SES light is on again! Finally, I have just noticed that interior light bulbs are missing as are license plate light, underhood light, etc. I have a feeling replacing them will only turn up more problems. Keyless entry not working either and have checked batteries (they're ok) in transmitters units. Hopefully all these problems linked to one central defect. Your opinions more than welcome. Should I paint this thing yellow and park it?

don't feel bad. i firend of mine got a 95 jimmy with the CPI which is done. leaks bad. 10 mpg highway. head unit was dead, tranny slips sometimes, truck clunks. when he took it home the O2 was bad and was making it miss bad. he made a turn and the passanger door flew open. now he locks it all the time. the bushings are shout on that door and the power window motors going up. the engine and tranny are said to be rebuilt but don't look like it or proform like it. his buzzer will work some times and then it will start to die. if his trucks off its fine but if its running it dies and comes back. he paid 2,300 for it and it has 197,000 almost 198,000 miles on it.

I would go to Autozone and gt the codes scanned again to make sure you pinpoint the problem.
