Noisy motor.

Now, I'm not exactly an MR2 guru or anything, and perhaps I'm just paranoid...but my car seems to be running a little loud. I can't really put my finger on it, and it's not that loud really... I'm just pretty particular when it comes to my vehicles. Are MR2 motors generally a quiet motor, or is it common to hear the gears and whatnot doing their thing? It's a JDM motor, and is well kept.

Thanks for any input

Re: Noisy motor.

mine is noisy as well but when you think about it there are all those vents right above the motor so compared to a Front engine four cylinder it will be louder

Re: Noisy motor.

motor running louder is also a sign that oil is running low and or it just might need an oil change, every car i had got hella louder when my oil was low, ( ya i aint the best at keeping my car in good condition) :P
