brake light

my brake light is stuck on. what can it be?

the swich... is clways on or is the light on even when the swich is off?? MORE 411 PLZ!

Check the rubber 'plug' where the brake pedal arm contacts the brake switch. The plug is to give the switch a little 'cushion' from the arm hitting it. The 'plug' gets dry and breaks up. When that happens, there is just a hole in the arm. This leave nothing for the switch to push against.

Look around on the floor, bet you see a small piece of rubber.

e-brack is all the way down and the light stays on. srry i had just woke up when i typed it.

yeah... it would help if you specify what brake and what light... there is more than one brake and more than one light...
